Cabinet Builder/Carpenter

Overview: 

We are currently looking for a full-time Carpenter/Cabinet Builder to join our well-established and successful team. Responsibilities include construction, installation, finishing, and quality assurance of kitchen galleys, bench seats, overhead cabinets, bed platforms, cabinet system enclosures, painting, and various carpentry.

• Detail-oriented – able to: make aesthetic design decisions, analyze faults, think through a process and likely problems prior to execution, avoid careless behavior

• Self-starter – take initiative in progressive steps on each project, self-directed

• Project a friendly, kind, and positive attitude; No one likes to work with unpleasant people

• Specialty tools and supplies for the builds are provided but hand tools and small power tools (ie, impact and drill, ratchet, sockets, etc) need to be supplied by you for daily use.

• Must be able to follow directions, work as a team, or as an individual

• Must possess mechanical aptitude

• Take pride in work completed

• 
Adaptability- willingness to learn new skills and techniques

• Not easily discouraged when situations change 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of cabinet builder and/or finish carpentry experience

• Ability to calculate precise measurements

• Strong organization skills

• Open to learning and feedback

• Strong work ethic and communication

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion

• Ability to safely operate tools

Pluses:

• Experience in converting a van

• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge

• Interest in van life

• CAD/CAM/CNC knowledge

Schedule:

• Full Time

• Mon-Friday 6:30am-3:15am

• 45min unpaid lunch break

• 2 ten minute paid breaks
